239 choices, one day: how to see the forest for the trees at Disneyland Paris

You've got your tickets. The bags are almost packed. Then you open the app or the map of Disneyland Paris, and it starts. Where do you begin? What can't you miss? And how do you fit it all into one day?

We counted. Not by feel, but in the official catalog of Disneyland Paris itself.

The numbers

Across the two parks, Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, spread over ten lands, you'll find:

  • 5036 Disneyland Park · 14 Disney Adventure Worldattractions
  • 236 of them only through a virtual queuemeet & greets
  • 15stage shows, parades and fireworksshows and parades
  • 8650 of them inside the parksrestaurants and bars
  • 65in the parks, Disney Village and the hotelsshops

239 choices

And that's just the list. On one ordinary Saturday in October, the programme holds 195 show and meet & greet times, each at its own time and place.

Why it's so hard

So much choice is wonderful, until you have to choose. The problem isn't just the amount. It's that everything moves at once:

  • Waits change by the minute. A ride at 15 minutes at ten o'clock can be at 60 by noon.
  • Shows have fixed times. To see the parade, you need to be there on time, which means you need to be there before your last ride ends.
  • Walking takes time. Frontierland to Discoveryland is a long walk. Zigzagging back and forth easily costs you an hour of your day.
  • Virtual queues open at set moments. Miss the moment, and you miss the meet & greet.
  • Two parks. Switch parks, and there's another walk and another scan.

Most visitors juggle a list, a map and the official app at the same time. The result: you're in the longest line at the busiest moment, or you run to the parade just as it leaves.

How Park Time Planner plans your day

Park Time Planner does one thing: you pick what you want to do, the planner puts it in an order that aims for less waiting and walking.

1. Pick what you want

Tap Start swiping and first answer a few questions: which day, which park, when you're there, which show ends your day and who's coming. With little ones, you won't be shown the big thrills. Then you swipe through the rides, shows and meet & greets: right for what you want, left for what you don't. Along the way, the planner shows how much more fits in your day.

2. The planner puts it in order

Your day appears on a timeline, stop by stop. To build it, the planner uses:

  • the usual wait per half hour, from comparable days, and on the day itself the live wait;
  • the real walking paths in the park, not the distance as the crow flies;
  • that day's show times, with time to be there on time: a quarter of an hour for a show, 25 minutes for a parade, 40 minutes for the night show;
  • your own breaks and meals.

3. In the park, you just follow your day

The next stop is at the top. Running late, or skipping a ride? The planner plans the rest of the day again from where you are now. Live shows every wait as it is now, and whether it's shorter or longer than usual. The Map shows your day land by land. And with an alert, you'll hear it when a wait drops, or five minutes before a virtual queue opens.

Five tips for your day at Disneyland Paris

  1. Pick your final show first. The night show decides where your day ends. Plan the rest around it.
  2. Start at opening. The first hour is the quietest time of the day for the most popular rides.
  3. Use single rider if you don't mind sitting apart. On a number of rides, it saves a lot of waiting.
  4. Watch the virtual queues. Meet Mickey Mouse, Princess Pavilion and Rencontre Royale only go through a virtual queue. Know when they open.
  5. Plan your breaks. Lunch at half past twelve and a quiet moment mid-afternoon keep the day fun, especially with kids.

Start for free

Nothing to install, no account to make. Open parktimeplanner.com, tap Start swiping and pick what you want to do. Your day is on Day right away, and the first two stops are free to see.

Until you sign in, your day is only in that tab. Sign in with your email address, also free, and your day is kept. With a plan you see your whole day, the planner plans again when a ride stops, and you get alerts.

The numbers come from the official catalog of Disneyland Paris (October 2026) and change with the season.
